Who We Are

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide the highest quality experiential learning programs in a global environment. With our 51 years’ experience and exceptional customer care, we prepare our students for a successful transition into college.

Customer Care

Delivering exceptional customer care

We know that you expect a certain level of service in all aspects of your life.  We are committed to providing the highest level of personal attention and individual support for every student and family, from your first call to our office to the time your son or daughter arrives home safely at the end of the program.

Customer care means communication

While our primary mission at Musiker Discovery Programs is to create the best environment for students to learn, grow, and have fun on our summer programs, we also recognize that communication with our families is crucial.  We pledge to provide professional customer service that is helpful, quick to address your questions and concerns, and responsive to your needs.

We know that you have options

We take the safety, care, and education of our students very seriously. As we prepare for our 50th summer on campus, our family owned and operated company continues to grow and thrive because of our commitment to customer care. To be successful, exceptional customer care must be more than something we talk about, we have to demonstrate it every day.

Leadership team

Outstanding, Experienced Staff

The Musiker Family has directed award winning, well supervised, educational summer programs for teenagers for over 45 years. Each campus has its own Discovery leadership team of experienced directors, knowledgeable academic advisors, and dedicated resident counselors. Our on campus administrative staff is the most experienced in the pre-college field — nobody else comes close.

Terrific Teachers

Classes are taught by college professors, graduate teaching instructors, top secondary school teachers, artisans, and professionals. Most classes are small and interactive, making learning meaningful and fun.

Resident Counselors / RC Groups

Our RC’s are mature, enthusiastic upperclassmen, graduates, and teachers from leading universities. Many are Summer Discovery alumni, and all attend our intensive On Campus Orientation prior to the program. RC’s live next to students in the residence halls, (several RC’s per floor), to ensure a smooth transition to college living.

All RC’s are over 21 years of age and non-smokers. For a more supportive and personalized program, students are divided into small RC groups of approximately 10-12, with their own Resident Counselor. Frequent RC group meetings provide an environment for social and academic interaction and adjustment.
